Why error "Invalid Package File" when downloading plugin?
« on: March 13, 2004, 09:43:45 am »

I'm trying to get IPod to work with Media Center 9.1. I was able to download it on one computer but get this message on another.

Thanks for any help!

Try using IE to download.  The FAQ here has a work-around for installing plug-ins.

Support for the iPod is much better in MC 10.0.

Thanks Jim,

I am using IE. I'll check the FAQ. Is 10.0 ready for public consumtion, meaning stable?

Very.  The problems we're seeing now are in the "noise" level.  Many are simply hardware or software issues that have nothing to do with MC.
