problem purchasing MC10
« on: March 19, 2004, 05:29:13 pm »

I'm 15 days into my FREE 30 day trial and now I want to purchase it.  In MC10 I've tried using the HELP, "buy media center", and clicking other "purchase" buttons, but the JRiver purchase page says the cost is $24.88.  This sounds crazy but I want to pay the $39.98.  It says to make sure the version & price are accurate before continuing.  I downloaded v10.0.82 beta but why is it so difficult to pay for it?
Please advise.
Thanks.

I think that price is for MJ8

Maybe you should make sure of what product your buying.

I just checked again and it is version 10.  In MC I went to HELP, about Media Center and it says Media Center 10 beta and at the top it says version 10.0.82 (not registered).

Then under HELP I went to "Buy Media Center" and it says Version 10, $24.88.

Strange.  ????

You're nice to want to pay the full amount.   That may be a first.

The $24.98 is a:

special price....

You'll get the real license for that price.  I guarantee it.

Well if you say so......looks like from your credentials you are a man that knows what he is talking about.  So, I'll just purchase and go from there.  I hope I don't run into probems down the road.  And my Birthday is not until December.
BTW,  I love MC so far.  I am an ex-musicmatch jukebox user.  Just getting started with my smartlists now.  (smartlists don't duplicate songs once transferred to your IPOD , do they?)
Thanks

I've just bought it at that price and it works fine!  It's a bit confusing though - the purchase page is headed "Media Jukebox", and I didn't see anything in the web site mentioning a "special price".  Still, I'm not complaining!  :)
