When I upgraded to MJ804 it prevented conversions to WMA (on licence grounds) so I trialled MC9 and bought MC10 (An excellent move!) BUT I still can't convert to WMA.
When I try, I get (eg WAV) an immediate "Failed to convert." Other types decode OK but then fail to encode. It does not struggle or crash, just spits me out. I can convert to all bar WMA.
Could the MJ8 revoked WMA permission somehow be effecting MC10.0.111?
Or am I just doing something silly? I have tried most stuff/options that I can think of.

WMA should work, but can you be more specific about what you are doing?

Converting from what to what?  How?

Some WMA files are protected and cannot be converted to anything else.

MP3 128 to MP3 VBR low OK
WMA 134 to MP3 128 OK
WAV to APE OK

WAV to WMA lossless Failed to Convert
MP3 80 to WMA 64 FTC
WMA 147 to WMA VBR normal/low FTC

Converter option: only enable move to ticked
Encoding: Delete temp and rip and encode simul.. ticked
Advanced:Enable PRM unticked
