When acquiring my Easter images, I experienced a terrible bug: after a handful (11 to be exact) of images transferred, the dialog box hung at 20% of a transfer. Though I waited for thirty minutes, it didn't go away. MC was still a little responsive, but I couldn't access any pull-down menues. I had to end the process from the Task Manager.
The remaining 50 or so photos are gone from my camera!
How could this have happened? What an ugly bug... I've lost some priceless photos.
I think this also shows why a "real" status bar (i.e. xx of XX photos transferred) would have been helpful - then I'd know exactly how many photos I was trying to transfer.
