More suggestions

1)

Would it be possible to save the view settings per tree node, not only at a view scheme level?
If it is possible, would someone do me a step by step guide please, as i cant get it right. Thanks

2)

It would be nice in thumbnail view, to be able to group the thumbnails by album artist, just like windows explorer does have the ability to group files by name, type etc...criteria.
Also it would be nice that when you double click on an album thumbnail, the view changed to a detailed view of its songs.

3)

Search: Please add a search history, and please, dont clean the search field when you change the item selected on the tree.

4)

What about being able to play a audio file while you watch TV? Or even beter, what about adding TV as a display plugin for the upper pane of Playing Now?

5)

And last, but not least, I would like my line-in tv audio source automatically muted when i stop watching tv?

What do you think?

Listening to: 'Rooster' from 'Dirt' by 'Alice In Chains' on Media Center 10

Edit: grrrr just when i thought my english was good...:P

definately i often perform a search in the wrong segment of the tree and then have to move to the correct part of the tree and then research.   :(

This isn't currently possible but has been requested many times before. At least, a version where the view setting are saved per level has been asked for. That way you could have a list for artists, but thumbnails for albums. Having it saved for every node would be a nightmare to administer. When would you want to see one artist in one mode and another in another?

Other suggestion
Music:
In album thumbnail view, when selecting one or more album thumbnail(s), it will be great to be able to switch easily to a list view of the songs in this album(s), by right click menu for exemple.
Then it will be great to switch back easily to album thumnail view (more faster than with twoo or three sub menus)
Sometimes I browse my library in album thumbnail view, and then it is not easy to select only one ore two songs from the album i select. (I have to switch to the list view and select the songs, among all the songs from the album i did not select).
Still Media center the best jukebox i know

Image:
Why don't you use the standard EXIF tagging? The Jrivertag maybe great, but it is not compatible with other programs, and i would like to be able to read the comments i put to my photos, even if i am not using media center. I think you should have a look at ACDsee 6 to know all the functionnality media center should have, but anyway your interface is much more intuitive, and i think you are able to do all thoose functionality easier to use.

bump

are any of these too difficult or not wanted?

I think some of them would be really useful.
