I just came across Media Jukebox after having used MusicMatch for years. Media Jukebox or Media Center blows away the competition. I'm ready to buy but from after having looked around the forum and such, it appears that the development is going to be concentrating on Media Center instead. All I want is a great MP3 player/organizer and the Plus version looks fine for my needs but I don't want to get stuck with a dead product.

So what's the deal? Should I really get Media Center just to be safe from extinction?

MJ is far from dead, but MC is better.  You can run it in an audio-only mode.

very little work has been done to MJ8 in the past 2 years, MC has seen alot of improvements.

JimH talked about a MJ9 but that never seem to happen now they are on MC10, and no signs of a MJ9 Or MJ10

As JimH has said MC10 is way better.

Good answer. I don't really want to pay the extra for Media Center but if that's the one getting focus and is better anyway, I'm on my way to purchase. Thanks!

i've never heard of media center becuase i've been really happy w/ mJ8 for two years.. however, I've recently found out that MJ8 sucks at playing Windows media flies, DVD, DIVX or anything except for songs....but it's the best player around for that.

now i know this media center deal probably really plays everything like media jukebox claimed to do when i bought it..

Do media jukebox plus people get a discount on media center? we should get it free.
