What is best way to use MJ on home network?
« on: June 01, 2004, 09:15:06 am »

I am new to Media Jukebox. I have three computer connected on a home network.

1) Do I need to purchase a seperate program for each computer?
2) What is the best way to share music located on other computers.
3) Do you have any other advice on how to best share music on a home network?

Thanks.

1) Your license can be used on all three computers, as long as it's for you and your family.

2) Try Media Server.

Thank you for your prompt reply. A follow up question. I can't figure out how to use Music Jukebox on all of my computers. I looked at the manual, but it didn't seem to help. Can you refer or link me to some refernece material?

Or are you saying I need to upgrade to media center to make use of one program on all of computers?

I'd appreciate any information you can tell me, send to me or point me towards. Thanks.

In the help section, look for "Media Server" - not "Media Center". It's included with Media
Jukebox and may do what you want.
