side-by-side question
« on: July 13, 2004, 10:13:04 am »

What exactly does this mean and how do I acceive it?

Does it mean that I can have 10 & 11 installed at the same time?  Or just different version of 11?

Also, how do you do a side-by-side install?

Thanks.

Yes, as I understand it. But I havent tried it.

I guess that you specify a different install location during the installation process.

I havent seen a post that says this is working properly yet, and I havent tried it, so please be careful with my advice. It goes without saying that v11 is an alpha and not for those who cannot tolerate potential crashes, lost data and other problems.

No, it will not work properly.

Future builds of MC 11 will cause MC 10 to stop working.

It's strongly recommended to choose one version for now.
