Ripping problem
« on: October 16, 2004, 03:44:47 pm »

a bug, I think, is eating it's way through my MC installation . . . .

I have, three (3) times, tried to tag & import a CD. I navigate in MC to my folder where EAC places my ripped files, and I make any necessary tag changes, select Import, select rename from properties, and wait for MC to complete moving files, updating and saving the tag changes, etc.
However, (doncha just hate those howevers?) the files remain in the ripped folder, with yellow icons, as if I had not done a thing to them.
I mean it is about as frustrating as, well Ya know when ya finish cleaning and the kids run through the house and Viola! it's like ya didnt do a thing? Well anyway . . .
3 times it has not imported the complete album, I even re-ripped the thing too and that didnt help.
I'd send ya the files, but they are 15 minutes long (Tchaikovsky) and besides, that is not allowed anyway is it?
So, I think it must be that MC bug again cause this has happened before. So just ta let ya know.
by-bye

I don't think this is a bug.

Try importing files after you rip them.
