Cannot Install trial version

 :'( am having difficulty installing Mediacenter on my computer at work. I only have 98 SE, but it says on your website that that is sufficient. Yet it says it cannot install and ends. Why is this. I do have 98 SE, all i can get this cheap company to spring for.
