Hi there.
Don't know when this started. Today I tried to start the Media Server, but received the above error message. I'm using all default installation pathes. I searched for a file Media Server.exe on all folders without success. Where is it??

I'm running the latest build of MC 11.0.148.
Any hint??

Library Server has replaced Media Server in MC11 alpha (or is it already beta?).

You can start the server and set options in: MC tree > Plug-ins > Library Server

Library Server is not ready yet (at least in my opinion). Not everything is working or running smoothly.

Pietro, since you are not familiar with this change you could search for "Library Server" in this forum.

Start Library Server from the plug-ins section of the tree.  Options can also be set there.  Setup will probably change again but we have an internal debate on what to do with it.

Do not run Media Server anymore.

In MC 10 I run Media Server.exe as windows service (using FireDaemon). How would I do something like that with new Library Server? Is there some option like that?

I didn't notice your question earlier. There is a problem with the conversion options, but Gatelay is already working on it. Playback of CUE tracks is one of the problems. APL files work in some cases, but not always (I must check this again). Seeking with the position slider is not working with many file types. At least the slider should be disabled when it cannot work.
