DX crossfade plugin...or something else...
« on: January 24, 2005, 03:25:49 pm »

I appologize in advance that this query is not really related to MC, but I have no place else to turn and the feedback in these forums is really the best.

I am forced to use WMP (even though I VASTLY prefer MC) on a particular project because of a pre-existing Crestron control interface that talks to WMP.  Unfortunately, the WMP crossfade is crap - no crossfade between songs or when position is changed in a song - and in addition to track A fading out, track B fades in - truly ridiculous.

What I'd love to have is MCs crossfade capabilities, but there simply are no plugins available for WMP that do anything like that.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a DX plugin that has a capable crossfader, as WMP can use DX DSP plugins?

Again, sorry for the offness of this topic, but I am desparate!

Thanks, in advance, for any help and guidance.
