How do you find out? Properties>Format doesn't distinguish?

I confirmed by opening an emusic mp3 with a text editor and reading the header. The EncSpot software will also provide the same info when it scans an emusic mp3. I noticed the change right after when emusic seemed to fall under the control of mp3.com (just conjecture, kind of maybe).

Yesterday i played Echo and The Bunymen.
One after the other the 2 albums you have on Emusic:

Flowers around one + year old
Live ,on Emusic since not long.

I had the impression that the live had a sound less...
I do not know how to say that, less blurded? With more room for the sound.
I runned EncSpot who says Lame  3,88 beta for the live.

I am allmost sure that it is quitte new.Not when Emusic part of mp3.com.
