i have just purchased a license for media jukebox 8.
i can't install it on any computer that has windows xp on it (i tried about 5 different computers).
the installation begins but just before the wizard is about to be shown, it crashes and stop.

any ideas?

Do you mean that you can't install MJ?  Or do you mean that you can't install the license.

I think you mean MJ.  If so, do you have the latest version?  8.0.400.

If so, try a new download.  Use IE.  Don't use a download manager to do this.

If it still is a problem, maybe you have something odd going on with a virus checker, pop-up blocker, spam filter, etc.

i have a sp2 on my windows xp.
tried to install the program on 5 different computers with no any connection between them but.... nothing.

i saw another people in the forum complaining about it.

Did you try downloading again?  Did you get MJ from our site?

yes, i tries to download it again from your site but... still the same.
i disabled the popup blocker of sp2 and uninstalled the google tool bar ...

nothing changed.

one of the 5 computers i tried to install the software on it, is a new one with just windows xp + sp2, norton antivirus 2005 with no other programs on it.

any other ideas?

J River Does Not give refunds, since they give you a 30 day trial before you need to buy it.

now, i paid and i can't use your software.
i have nothing wrong with my computers. your software doesn't works (it stops just before the wizard is about to be shown).
now i"m bald from both sides, i lost my money and i can't use your software.
i think it's not fair.
if you can send me a version that works. i"ll be happy :-)

it seems mike is speaking broken english, Maybe from another country, i am wondering if the version of windows he is running has something to do with his problems?

There's nothing wrong with any of the versions of MC. There may however be a problem with the download or the method of installation.

The more information you can give us the more likely it is that we will find the solution. We all want the program to work for you, because we all believe its the best program. Please have a little patience and we'll find the answer.

Are you using IE as your browser?
