I've installed MC11 on a client and server machine. It's been working great. However I've run into a snag. I am re-ripping all my CD's into ogg vorbis. When I re -ripped the cd, and connect from the client computer the library doesn't update.  It still shows the old mp3 files(the ogg vorbis are tagged identically just with a .ogg extension) . When I click to play them of course it can't find the files.
I've tried clearing the library on the client machine and then reconnecting and loading the library from the server whithout any luck.  It's as if the client doesn't know that the files have changed (from .mp3 to .ogg).

Can anyone help? I'm having a party tommorow and this is a problem since my client computer is hooked up to my stereo.

Keith - this should work, as long as you connect the client AFTER ripping.

Make sure you have the latest version of MC (there was a bug fixed affecting which library was shared), and if that doesn't work, try a test with a new empty library, then ripping a single CD into it.
