Is there any chance this combination will work. Certainly win98 will be the limiting factor. I'll check Apple's or Microsoft's web sites to see if there is an iPod driver for win98.
Also, the new iPod mini is not recognized by my laptop running WinXP Pro. My 2G iPod is fine on my laptop. I have loaded iTunes and formatted the new mini. I'm pretty sure I also initialized it in MC. I'll have to write down my steps and add to this post once I get home. I have also loaded the handheld plugin, although I thought I saw on another thread this isn't necessary.
I guess bottom line is how to get the new iPod mini working with MC 10.0.173 on my XP internet connected laptop. I'll worry about my son's machine later.
TIA for any help,
MikeB.
