MC11 stays open!
« on: April 24, 2005, 03:57:06 pm »

I posted about this before but didn't seem to get much response.  Perhaps that is because I didn't say it clearly enough.  To put it clearly, it seems that MC11 seems to stay in the memory even after it closes.  Now whether this is a result of the new updates for XP SP2 or the new builds of MC11, I do not know.  But I do know I am having this problem.

Here is a picture for proof:

Are you do anything unusual?  Running any other software that accesses MC?  Third party plug-ins?

Try disabling it.  Check the FAQ and the link to "Weird and Wonderful" to read about another Audioscrobbler problem that might be related.

quick impressions after disabling the audiscrobbler plugin indeed suggests that it might be the problem.  The next thing I'm going to do is trying reinstalling the plugin.  Of course, it might be closing just as a result of random incidence.

Did you find the thread I mentioned?  It talks about a problem from NOT logging in to audioscrobbler.

mmm the newest version of the Audioscrobbler plugin seems to be pretty reliable on logging in (and their servers have improved vastly).  But no, I couldn't find the FAQ, sorry.  A link would help.  Thanks for the help though.
