MC11 encoder and zen problems
« on: April 25, 2005, 03:48:27 pm »

Probably got these to you to late:

Encoder Issue:
On the Encoding options > "File Conversion" I originally had the settings to use Lossless. I changed this option under the Advanced area from Lossless to Variable Extreme. Now I cannot reopen the Advanced area; Windows shows an error report and MC quits.

Anybody else getting this?

Handheld Issue:
I had my Nomad Zen Xtra connected to MC.

While "Drives & Devices" > "Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra" node is selected, I unplugged my Zen and got an error message saying something like "make sure your devices is connected and turned on". I clicked OK then MC quits.

Can anyone confirm this on a different handheld?

Let me know if there is any more information you would like me to provide :)

Not sure what specifically you were looking for, so here are a few:

Media Center: v11.0.248
Jukebox Plugin: v11.0.21
Windows Media Encoder Plugin: v2.0.40
WindowsMedia Player: 10.00.00.3802

Please repost in the bug thread.  I moved it here because it sounded like you had an older version of MC.

Any handheld issues should be posted on the Portable Devices board.
