Web Media Broken in MC11?
« on: April 28, 2005, 10:07:24 am »

I just started to try out the web media capabilities and I can't get many of the stations to play anything.  For example, when I click play on any of the "Radio Free Virgin" stations is says "Downloading codec..." and then just lists a number in the Now Playing bar followed by "0.00/Live - 32kbps 1 of 4" but doesn't seem to play anything.  Clicking Next or Previous doesn't make any difference.  The "Digitally Imported" stations seem to work fine but I haven't been able to make many other ones work.

I tried some:

Radio Free Virgin X-Groove works
Virgin Radio (Rock/Pop) works
Radio 2 works

Radio Free Virgin Burning Down the 80's does NOT work:
It first says 'buffering' and than it switches to 'downlaoding missing codec' and it stays like that.
For Radio Free Virgin Blues, the same thing.

I do not know why. Maybe it can not find the missing codec??

I am not specifically interested in a channel, so I switch to something else.

Mine gets past the "Downloading missing codec..." but then never plays anything.  The ones that worked for you don't work for me.
