DMA to PIO problem
« on: June 13, 2005, 02:55:12 pm »

It appears MC11 changed my IDE from DMA to PIOS and now when I try to rip a DVD what used to take 10 to 15 minutes now takes 3 to 5 hours and brings my system to a crawl. I have tried to uninstall and go back to MC10 where I was not having any problems but it won't allow me to delete all the files.

So I install MC10 again and now it's giving me messages about having to be some sort of power user. I am logged into an XP admin account.

Kevin,
MC didn't do that.  Windows does that if there are problems reading from the drive.  Please try a google search for details.

I've edited your post to remove the angry parts.  They served no useful purpose.
