Question about converting format and file location
« on: June 18, 2005, 07:08:08 pm »

When converting from APE to MP3, can I save the APE files and create seperate MP3 files in another folder?  I know I can copy and paste...which is slow.

I am using MC10.

One of the options during conversion is whether to delete the originals.  Another is the destination path.

I dont see that option.

Under Tools>Library Tools>Convert Format> I click "Change" and then "Converter," where I see "move to location," which I believe converts the file and moves that file rather than leave the APE and create an MP3 in a new folder.

Under Tools>Options>File Location, there is an "Output file location." I have that set the the folder where I want the MP3 to end up.

Right click a file.
Choose Library Tools -> Convert Format
Click the Options button
There is a button to check "Send original file to recycle bin"
