Hello,
I am currently attempting to stream music to my work machine through a SSH port forward.  This used to work fine some time ago but it no longer works (Not used it in a bit).  It says error in the last few files, make sure your library is pointing to the right location.  The log file shows the following:

I may be doing something wrong...  But I can connect to the server through the tunnel and download the library, then when trying to connect I get this error.  When I get the error, I am sure the tunnel is still up and working properly.

Any thoughts on what the issue may be?

So really I got nothing...  Very odd indeed.

Is there any other information I can provide?  This used to work so nicely for me.

This is different - the status page is just showing a request for cover art, and the first log you posted was an actual request for music.

Check the path names on the client, they'll start m01p://blahblah or something similar. Make sure the IP address is correct...

I requested to play the music, I guess the server was attempting to get the cover art hence the message.  The server does not have an entry for the file it was supposed to serve though, as it normally would.

The URL in MC:

m01p://127.0.0.1:9010/H:\MP3\Beastie Boys\TO THE 5 BOROUGHS\Beastie Boys - To The 5 Boroughs - 06 - Triple Trouble.ogg

It is a loopback through the SSH tunnel.  I wish MC gave a bit more info so I could debug this on my own.  I've tried all the logging to no avail.  This is probably an issue with something here.  Though it used to work a bunch of builds ago.

That file exists on the server BTW.  I just ran an import/cleanup.  I also went and got all new cover art after I saw that was the last thing it was doing.  No help there.

Any ideas?

What's the address of the server? 127.0.0.1:9010 ?

Yes, I am at work doing a SSH port forward of port 9010 through ssh (http://www.ssh.com/support/documentation/online/ssh/adminguide/32/Port_Forwarding.html).

Basically it is like a kind of VPN.  My server is running on port 9010.

No ideas at the moment. It looks to me like it should work, the tunnel should be invisible.

Make sure you are trying a valid song (I wonder if the cover art entry was for an invalid song).

Let me know what happens...

Opened a new library file, imported one file.  It did not work. 
Double clicked the URL in the client MC and changed nothing, tried again and it worked!

I then opened the original library and all the files worked too!

So, looks like MC got in some sort of state it did not know how to handle, I really have no idea.  The tunnel was always up, so I really do not think that was the issue.

Could be a super hidden elusive bug, I have no idea.  Perhaps it is best to think it never happend

I'm glad it worked, wish I knew more. It's hard to even tell where the problem is - MC or the tunneling software or somewhere else...
