MC10 encoding crash
« on: July 09, 2005, 08:48:47 pm »

I have searched, but still cannot find a solution to stop MC from crashing while encoding to wma.

I have a virgin XPPro machine with nothing installed but the default Windows Media.  I have disabled autoplay.  I have WM set to rip to MP3.  APE works fine, but would like to use WMA.

Any suggestion on what else to try?

Sorry, but what do you mean by "have WM set to rip to MP3"?

If you're trying to rip with MC, try ripping to other codecs.  If APE works, MC's ripping is working.

You might also try MC11.

Windows Media is a bit of a moving target right now.
