Can't purchase upgrade
« on: August 10, 2005, 07:35:24 am »

I just downloaded version 11 last night & installed. I'm a registered user of version 10, so I plan to upgrade for the $26.00 charge. The upgrade went fine but when I try to purchase the upgrade I get the error message: Error Code 800 - Please contact J River. This happens on the last submit button.

Please advise.

Thanks,

John Newell

It's not a matter of restoring my license. I can’t purchase the upgrade license in the first place. I get the error code 800 when trying to purchase the upgrade.

Thanks

You'll need to install MC10 and restore your license before you install MC11 and attempt the purchase.  If the MC10 license isn't there, you'll get the $40 price.

Hi John,

It's our problem, I'm checking into it now.

Please try again. The upgrade process yesterday killed a daemon it shouldn't have, it's now fixed.

That did it. Thanks   :)

Any idea on how to get a notification sound at the end of a music cd rip? It worked in version 10.

You shoud start a new topic. However, goto: Tools>Options>Devices>Play Sound.
