Hi,

I'd like creat my own client for media server.  I have an audio server running media center connected to a multiroom audio system which I'd like to control from another PC.  I know that I can use two instances of media center on different PCs and stream the audio across the computer network, but I need to leave to audio on the server and just use the client PC as a remote control. 

I know the Netremote is able to do this, however I wish to intergrate the media center control into my own software which controls the rest of the multiroom audio system.

Although I could write both server and client program which uses the SDK interface and winsock (in VB) to pass the controls over the PC network is should be possible to use the media server and just write the client program.  My problem is that I am unable to find documentation on how to interface to media server.

Any help on the commands used would be much apprechiated.

Media Server is not the thing you need. Media Server has no control over playback on the server machine.
