"Buffering" Problems on PC Rebuild
« on: September 05, 2005, 12:07:21 pm »

Hi All:

I've always been able to use MC 10 without any problems.  I recently built a new PC, and everything works fine, but when I reinstalled MC 10, I ran into an issue.  About every other time, I can use the program without incident.  However, sometimes the program will jump to the "Now Playing" list on startup and begin to cycle through the songs in the list without playing them...The highlight just keeps moving down through the songs repeatedly, while the status window says "Buffering."

Any idea what might be causing this?

Thank You,

Michael Tschirret

That's a very strange problem.  I don't know the answer.

Check the location of your library database files.  You can use MC's File/Library Manager to see this.
