Enabling MC as default Autoplay for a UMS player?
« on: September 10, 2005, 08:44:32 am »

Is it possible? Simply? I looked at Microsoft's description of Autoplay entries then I went crosseyed as my gnat-like attention span was disrupted by rows of registry entries.

We looked at this a year or so ago and decided that it was more trouble than it was worth.  Microsoft didn't make it easy.

A shame. Oh well, one extra mouse movement and two clicks won't kill me I guess  ;D
Could you look at it again just to make sure there hasn't been any developments in the meanwhile? I mean if iAudio can manage it with the Jetaudio suite then it can't be THAT hard, can it?

I solved it using this:

Works a treat. I have "Run Media Center" and "Run Synctoy" as Autoplay items.
