critical error #30?
« on: September 13, 2005, 03:59:23 pm »

I had recently downloaded and installed the newest version of the media center and after a few moments of use a pop up displays "Media center has encountered critical error #30. Some essential component is missing or corrupt. Please uninstall and reinstall the latest version of media center. If this error persists, report it to JRiver." Ive done this several times with the same results. I had also redownloaded the file and reinstalled the newer version of the same program and still get the same error. I am running windows xp professional sp1. 1gig dell processor 356 ram. Any answers fixing this error would be greatly appriciated. I would like to purchase this Program but wont until I know I can run it with no problems.    Thanks, Jayce ?

Try re-installing your license.

I hadnt purchased this program yet. I'd like to evaluate before I buy, considering I am a Dj and had bought several programs which were not right for me and had no trial period. Is this error going to happen when/If i buy?
  Thanks, Jayce
