Cannot exit MC properly

When I try to exit my MC, it does not react. I can play music or burn CDs, even after clicking on the "exit" at the drop-down-menu or the X at the window corner. A look in the task manager reveals nothing special. The CPU-load is 0% and the memory usage is about 8 MB. If I kill the task, I always get the Aruba-skin, even if I switched it to PixOS, so the settings are not saved. Sometimes MC responds slowly.

I'm grateful for any idea.

The first build of 11.1, which you have, has a few problems.  Try 11.0 from our downloads page here:
