MC Video Decoder, PVR250, & SageTV

I just noticed that playing back videos recorded via PVR250&SageTV is infinitely nicer through JRMC11 than SageTV. This is true regardless of which decoder I pick in SageTV.

What decoder does JRMC11 use? Is it possible to reuse that in SageTV?
