Using 379 ... I have had a weird time with Media Editor in which it would not cut nor delete a selected portion of a track.  When doing same it would instead highlight the whole track and do nothing else.  Even an MJ restart did not change this behavior.  It would cut/delete a selection properly at the end of a track but not at the beginning.  

Basically all I did was click on the end point, then right-click on a begin point then select either cut or delete - this never worked.  Then I tried setting the begin point first then drag over to the end point and this *did* work - but it is difficult to get the endpoint right where you want it when doing it this way.
