Spectrum Analyzer behaviour with 2 Zones
« on: December 23, 2005, 08:33:25 am »

I am using 2 zones, each with an own sound card.
For each playing now I have a sprectrum analyzer (Stereo) active.

This is what happens:
> Both zones not playing, spectrum is dead. That's good.
> One of the zones playing, the spectrum show the correct analysis. That's good.
> Both zones playing, the spectrum shows the cumulative analysis. This is not good.

Question: is it a bug? Do other people have the same behavior?

It's a known limitation of multi-zone playback.  We hope to address this in MC 12.
