Using build 11.1.100 and ipod software 3.1, my G4 ipod is not synching on connect even though I have that setting enabled. Moreover, the "Get Data from handheld on connect" box unchecks itself after exiting the options menu.

Are you sure you're setting the correct iPod? Maybe you have two?

Same here, both issues are still there in .101 : no autosync on connect and sync data and ratings option can't seem to stay checked.
