Missing files
« on: January 17, 2006, 07:44:57 pm »

When the library gets out of synch, the 'missing' files are marked but how can I filter on them so I can remove those files sinceh the update library function seems to have been removed.

"Import Media Files..." will fix or removing broken links. (Import > Advanced to configure)

Run it anytime you want to synchronize your hard drive and media library.

So I can only clean the database by importing. I suppose I could 'import' from an empty directory but seems odd to have to work around.

If it makes it any easier, think of "Import" as "Synchronize" in your head.  We thought about renaming it, but it'd cause as much confusion as it'd cure.
