Control display on "Playing Now" via remote
« on: February 03, 2006, 03:21:44 pm »

Is there a way to control the display and change the visualization via a remote?
I did not see anything in the automation and windows messages...
I have MC on my media center PC and it doesn't have any mouse nor keyboard.
After I watch photos with MC then the display on "Playing Now" is always the photos and I did not figure out any way to get it back to any visualization when playing only audio. It would be nice if the Visualizations could be part of the playlists...

You can switch displays by using Ctrl-1, Ctrl-2, etc. or F11.

Jim, I think he's asking how to change "Visualisations" not the "Display Views", that it to say chose between "Covert Art, Images, Visualisation, Track Info, GForce ...".

Unfortunately I think it's not possible via a remote.

Actually it is!!! The theater interface is very tricky  :-\
You can "scroll" down using the remote on the "Playing Now" menu and there is a "Control" menu which allows to change the display. This doesn't work though on Full Screen mode...
