HOW to keep MJ RIPPING after READ error?
« on: September 23, 2002, 02:03:56 pm »

It used to be that MJ automatically moved on to the next track if it encountered a read error during a rip.  Now it stops and waits for user input.

Thus unattended ripping is perilous.

How can I tell MJ to just keep going automatically if it has sector read problems?

This could be our problem.  What version are you using?

Try "secure mode". This is slower but ensures a good rip and will not stop on errors. You get a status report at the end of which tracks had errors.
