Future video transcoding?
« on: March 20, 2006, 07:28:01 am »

Hello,
Just curious if video transcoding is slated for a future version.  I would love to transcode some podcasts so my IPOD can play them.
You can probably use the wonderful open source program (ffmpeg I think) to do the work like you use the lame encoder.

Just a thought, thanks!

I would love to ping you about this feature again for 12.0.  I think transcoded video for my IPOD would be great.  I would also love to see monitored folders so that I can have my transcoded Tivo files put on my IPOD as well every night (It is a nightly process via TVHarmony).

Thanks!
