What do i need to do to get podcasts to appear in the podcast menu on my Gen3 ipod.

Ipod has 2.3 software and i am using build 11.1.166 on winXP

Also i always get a blank playlist on my ipod (eg no name with no contents) under the inbuilt podcast playlist

I have tried a full sync and just syncing various playlists including just the MC podcasts by date.

Check the Quick Start near the top of this board.  Apple has more info.  You may need to update your iPod firmware by using their updater.

Using iTunes, podcasts appear in podcast playlist

In MC11 postcasts do not appear in podcast playlist.

I have default settings for all fields on the podcasts i download & have tested this with newly downloaded podcasts and a clean reimaged gen 3 ipod with the latest firmare.

Can anyone else with a 3g Ipod confirm they get podcasts appearing in the default podcast playlist?

Did you try running the iPod updater?

Yep, ran it and it says no update required.  Then reformatted the ipod just for fun and repeated the Sync with MC.  Still the same issue.
Is it just me or do you expect podcasts to appear in the podcast playlist on gen 3 ipods?
