I have a little problem with the sound.
« on: May 02, 2006, 11:23:17 am »

I just purchased a computer and I installed Media Center on it and On MC10/MC11,
I noticed that there is a low sound static
in the background. I tried another sound card and it made no
diference. This sound problem is only with MC10/11.
Any advise what it could be causing this?

Thanks...

Try switching playback between Direct Sound and Wave Out.

Make sure the Windows volume control is muted for the microphone.

Is DSP on?  Anything else that alters sound?

DSP is on  running with DFX.
I also tried disable DFX  and the sound problem is still there.
