I  just wanna ask if there are any news on the sony mp3 players and the ability to sync them with mc (atrac3 and all that)

It's unlikely to happen at this point.  Sony is moving toward a more open world, but we still don't get much help.  It would be nice.

And what am I to do with my VGF-AP1L...

I praise the Creative style.

No special sync software, no special m4a, atrac, and like that.
