Cannot install Media Center
« on: June 19, 2006, 07:12:22 pm »

I was trying to install MC on an older PC to use it as a server for my Netgear MP101 music players since I can leave it on all the time and don't use it for other things.  It runs through the initial screen saying it is preparing to install but once it finishes that, I see no more.  It seems to just end the process.  The computer is 180MHz with 64Mb ram.  It runs Netgear's own media server software just fine so I'm thinking it should not have too much trouble.  Any ideas?  Perhaps it checks and then halts because of the specs but might work if it didn't halt on purpose?

64MB is probably not enough RAM.
