Weird and wonderful...problem with tuner (Resolved)
« on: July 07, 2006, 11:52:33 am »

Before my last install of Windows,
I had TV working fine with MC using the Conexant BTPci drivers.

After installing a new copy I've had problems.
It was present in MC11, but i've been reminded by
Alex's Tuner thread.
I'm wondering if anyones got any suggestions.

It's a Hauppauge 878 card, which needs a cable from the
line out to the line in of the sound card. No problem.
However when I start TV now, for some reason it activates
the Microphone on my Logitech Webcam, which then starts a sort of
looping feedback because it can hear whats coming out of the speakers.

I've tried uninstalling the driver, reinstalling it.
Played around with the audio settings within MC.
All sorts but the only way I can get it to stop activating is
to unplug the thing!

On Reflection I think the TV Cards had it anyway.
The audio seems to have died on one channel.
