I tried burning a set of APE files, converting to mp3 to a 700mb cdr.
The total size of the APE files is 794mb, which will easily fit on a 700mb cdr when converted to mp3 files, with room to spare...
However, after burning most of the files, MC12 asked for another disk ??
I canceled.
The first disc contains 304mb of data, nowhere near the 700mb size of the blank.
There are still CD burning problems with MC12...
Prior versions of MC12 told me up front if it was going to need 2 discs to burn the set of files. The latest version of MC just lets me burn and then asks (way before needed) for another disc.
Matt mentioned that overburning would be considered for MC12. At least if I could say "burn anyway" if MC says there is not enough room, then I could get the CDR burned properly. Could I be the only user who is actually trying to burn CDR's?
As it stands right now, the MC11 burning and space warnings was usable, MC12 (I know, it's beta...) is not usable for CDR burning.
