I think latest build 151 is not up for release and to get updated directly from program. When I clicked check for updates it was downloading build 147 beta and after downloading it gave this error:
Can not start program 'C:\DOCUME~\myname~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\InstallPackage - 5208.tmp'. Error unknown. (31)

I understand build 151 is not for release yet. But why the above one is not getting updated. Please let me know.

Can I just download the file and install on top of current build?

Can I just download the file and install on top of current build?

Yes.

Builds flow through a series of gates, and the last gate opens the automatic update.
