License restore

I just installed a wireless home network and when I next brought up MJ8, it said my license needed to be restored.  I tried to reinstall my reg code, but said it had been used too many times.  What?  I've used it once, when I bought it (which was a pain in the tail at the time- had to go through many hoops).  

In any case, I just want my dang license restored and MJ working normally.  What gives?

Are you restoring from a .mjr file you saved previously, or from the web page?

Tried from .mjr file, but it said I had to go to the web.  When I entered reg number, it said it had no more restores left (I've never restored prior to this, however).  

Is there a way to force the .mjr file?  I can play my files, but it looks like I'm on the 30 day plan- it keeps asking me to upgrade when I open app.  

BTW, I purchased MJ8 on 4/4/02.

Actually, it was an .rrg file, I think...

If you purchased version 8, write gateley @ jriver.com with your name and address and as much detail as you have.  No credit card #, please.
