Web media...save web streams?
« on: June 27, 2007, 03:09:56 pm »

Heard mention of this feature, but don't know anything about it.

I am interested in saving some webstream locations in playlists but the links don't stick...

How do people use MC to do this? Possible?

thanks

Open Audio in the tree, and select Web Media.  Then select something at one of the sites.  You should get a dialog asking what you want do do -- play, download...

Thanks Jim...guess you can tell how much I have been using the tree lately ;)

Hopefully my local radio station will be able to keep webcasting in light of this recent royalty issue ...

Jim,

I used PublicRadioFan to add a bunch of favorites on the site and also added links through MC to IE. Nothing shows up in Web Favorites - Audio. They need to update the link...good links give you the prompt...thanks Jim!!!

Tried Icecast....attemped to add a stream to favorites, the MC prompt opened and as the webcast's page loaded I selected add to favorites....MC crashed completely.
