Let me know if I leave out any details you need.
I cannot seem to play an mp3 stream from a Shoutcast server (Version 1.9.8/win32).
I could last night, but then I upgraded to .318, and then subsequently .329.
Since then when I try to open the stream, firstly it does not get/display the track title/artist metadata anymore,
and the stream is extremely blippy and corrupt sounding.
I reinstalled with the earliest version I have on hand, which is somewhere in the 12.0.18x range, not sure, but it's old!
MC grabs metadata fine, and the stream sounds perfect.
...after that I tried .329 again, and we're back to no metadata and blippy/corrupt stream (although I can still hear the music).
The last version I *think* I was using before the upgrade last night was .308, or may have been a .28x.
Since there are no old version archives that I can gather from this forum or elsewhere, it's a bit hard to pinpoint the version that develops this problem.
Also note, VLC plays the stream perfectly in all cases.
I have rebooted after reinstalls (only way to get the shell context menu going again anyway).
Logging doesn't share any apparent errors, but if you would like logging/debug output anyway, let me know and I'll make it so.
Best regards,
Bryan
