upgrading to XP - will mj run more smoothly?

I was wondering if someone running windows xp could tell me whether they have any problems at all with the latest version of mj. i am currently running windows Me and the last couple of versions of mj have not functioned properly(ripping)mj7 worked fine for me. thanks.

I went from 98SE to XP a couple of weeks ago and everything seems to work better. Faster start up also. ME is probably the worst one of the bunch.

No comparison - Smoother, faster, more stable (mine is now running for 12 days w/o interruption - try this with Win 98SE or ME ?)

Have not had any problems from day one.

XP is on a new system.
