YADB lookup returns nothing
« on: May 29, 2007, 11:49:48 pm »

OK, I know that YADB has been discussed and debated endlessly, but either something's not working or I'm doing something wrong.

I've got over 3000 tracks on one of my machines. Some of these were RIPped with MC (various versions over the years) and other programs. When I'm going through and cleaning things up (tracks with incorrect names due to importing wrong), I get the albumn, track and artist names set, and then try to look up the tracks via YADB. 99.9% of all the tracks come back not found. Tonight I did a test and re-RIPped some of the CD"s. When I put the CD in the drive, it is found on YADB. So my question is, why aint it found when I do the old tracks?

The CD and track databases are separate.  The CD database has a lot more entries.

If your tracks are well tagged, you can upload them.

Put the CD in the drive, right click on the CD in the tree, and chose "Lookup from YADB".
