Our Animals, Our Pets, Our Loved Ones.
« on: December 29, 2007, 04:08:52 pm »

I Know Matt Loves His Dog, You can see it when he talks about her, and in His Avatar.

Did I Say Dog?

For Many Owners, Our Animals Are Truly A Extension Of Our Family.

This Morning When I Woke Up And Went Into The Living Room Ginger Was Going into Convulsions, She Could Hardly Breath, And After A Few Min's Fell Over on to her side.

I know Dogs can't talk, But I could see I was going to lose her. Looking into her now almost completely black eyes I think she was giving up.

I rushed her to Our 24hour Vet, They put a tube down her throat so she could breath, Oxygen and IVs along with many tests. I think we are at $425.90 right now when I left the vets office.

I came home so I could feed her 6 puppies (by the way they don't like dog replacement milk). I am also wearing my 4th Shirt for the day.

I Just called to see how she is doing, And she is doing better. She is still on a IV drip, she stopped shaking, and can breath now.

They think that she kept feeding her puppies even though she was getting sick from letting them nurse from her. Her calcium got so low that her body was shutting down, and she started having convulsions.

I wish I could have seen this coming, maybe I could have done something to help her, if I only known. Maybe when she was coming to get me yesterday, It was not A I want to go outside visit from her, It was I have something wrong with me, and I need your help.

Our pets truly don't ask much in return for all the love they give us.

This Has been a not so Ho, Ho, Ho... Day For Our Family

Hi King,

Keep us posted, okay?

And remember that sometimes it is hard to figure out what pets are saying. Our cat spent 30 minutes yowling one day, and we couldn't figure out why, until someone realized that the door to the room with the litterbox was closed.

I hope Ginger is better,

We picked up ginger today from the vet

We need to give her Calcium pills and a Calcium jell every so many hours

The vet could not get her to eat, when I got her home I cooked her a new york strip stake (Rare) this morning she ate the whole stake.

Here is a picture of her with her puppies, the yellow bandage is where she had the IV

Hey King! That's great news!

I'm always amazed by what mothers will do for their children, like Ginger continuing nursing even though it was hurting her.

The puppies look very happy to see her

She had a relapse last week, and had to take her back 3 more times.

We made her stop feeding the puppies.

One of my employees father died today from prostrate cancer, i can only imagine how he is feeling.

it has been 4 weeks since she had them

She Is Doing OK, Right Now The Puppies are semi licking up there milk and food from a plate.

the vet said it was good to let them walk all over there food because they will gain a taste for it after licking there feet.

Some times sue feeds them milk with a spoon or a syringe
